These terms cover Shorts Pipeline ("the App"), a personal, self-hosted tool operated by Tio Fani to cut long YouTube videos into vertical short clips and optionally upload them to his own YouTube channel.
The App is not a public service. It is not offered for sign-up, has no user accounts open to the public, and is operated solely by its owner on his own infrastructure. Access is limited to the owner's own Google account.
By authorising the App, you agree that you will:
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
The App accesses your YouTube channel only through the OAuth scopes described in the Privacy Policy. You can revoke that access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately disables the App's access to your channel.
Uploads are made under your own YouTube account. You remain solely responsible for every clip the App publishes on your behalf, including its content, its privacy setting, and any claim arising from it. Uploading is irreversible from the App's side — a published video must be removed through YouTube itself.
The App is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It may fail, produce incorrect clips or captions, or be unavailable, including because of YouTube API quota limits or platform changes. No guarantee of uptime or accuracy is given.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including lost revenue, lost content, or removal of a video by YouTube.
These terms may be updated at any time. The revised version takes effect when published on this page with a new date.
